Wilderness Lake Preserve is a unique community located in Land O Lakes, FL. At the heart of the community you will find four Lodges with 11,000 square feet of air conditioned space along a 38 acre community lake with dock, that offers fishing and canoeing. Covered breezeways connect the lodges and there are porches with rocking chairs overlooking the scenic lake. There is a Nature Center with some live animals, including a green iguana and fish. The Center also has a big screen theater and has been designated a Tampa Lowry Park Zoo educational outreach location.

Included in the recreational facilities are two pools, an interactive play fountain, a custom built “tree house” for the children, and tennis and basketball.

Wilderness Lake Preserve has been named one of the nation’s top communities. It has received the Best in American Living Awards from the National Association of Home Builders for overall community and also for its community amenities. Criteria for these awards included interior and exterior architecture and design, sales success and site plan.
